Former defender William Gallas believes that only two giants, Real Madrid and Barcelona, can tempt Cole Palmer to leave Chelsea.
The England international signed a seven-year deal after moving to Stamford Bridge from Manchester City in the summer of 2023 and has impressed to become one of the Premier League’s top scorers.
Given his 18 months at the club, fans of every club would certainly want a player like this in their squad, but Gallas believes there are only two clubs that could tempt him away from Chelsea.
“At the moment I think only Real Madrid and Barcelona can tempt Cole Palmer to leave Chelsea,” said Gallas, who made 225 appearances for the club and won two Premier League titles.
“I think he’ll be successful ยูฟ่าเบท playing football in Spain. It might take three seasons in the future, but I think Chelsea fans should hope that neither side will make an offer anytime soon.”
Chelsea have become less reliant on Palmer this season but the England playmaker is still contributing his fair share of goals and assists with 17 so far in 16 Premier League games.
Given his form over the past 18 months, there can be few fans in world football who would not want Palmer at their club – but Gallas believes only two teams would currently have any chance of ‘tempting’ him to leave Chelsea.
